The online form for requesting a speaker is not available because JavaScript has been disabled for your browser.
If you want to enable scripting, follow the instructions for changing your browser settings.
To request a speaker without enabling scripting, you can either submit your request in Word format or send an email to DCLG Supporting People specifying the required information.
Download the Word document at the bottom of this page, complete the form and forward it to spkweb@communities.gsi.gov.uk.
Send an email to spkweb@communities.gsi.gov.uk specifying the following information:
- Event name
- Town/city where the event will take place
- Event date
- Reason for requesting a speaker
- Type of meeting (Inclusive forum / Core strategic group / Regional implementation
group / Other - Please specify)
- Theme of meeting
- Audience type
- Number of delegates
- Time when the meeting will start
- Time when the meeting will finish
- Time allocated to speaker
- Speaker arrival time
- Speaker departure time
- Venue address (including postcode and, if necessary, directions for getting there)
- Main contact name
- Name of host organisation
- Email address
- Telephone number
If you are using Internet Explorer and want to enable scripting take the following steps:
1. In the browser toolbar select the 'Tools' option to open the 'Tools' menu.
2. In the 'Tools' menu select 'Internet options'
3. In the 'Internet Options' window, select the 'Security' tab.
4. Select the 'Custom Level…' button at the bottom of the 'Security' tab.
5. Scroll to the 'Scripting' section of the settings list.
6. Select 'Enable' for 'Active scripting'
