From 1st June 2004 the Probation and Prison Services have combined to become the National Offender Management Service (NOMS). Home Office, in discussion with ODPM, have issued the attached Supporting People guide for NOMS staff. This is intended to, in particular, advise NOMS staff of the role which they should fulfil in relation to the Supporting People programme. It will also be of interest to Supporting People Teams and Commissioning Bodies.
