HIA Outcomes Update
As you are aware CLG have been working with a number of providers and authorities in developing a framework which will capture outcomes for HIAs. The draft HIA outcome framework is now ready to be piloted. We have now agreed the authorities who will be participating in the pilot and thank everyone who volunteered.
We have agreed with the working group that the pilot will run from Friday 1st August until Friday 24th October 2008. This is the same time period for the piloting of the QAF refresh. Given the timings for the pilot we do not envisage that the final HIA outcomes framework will be ready to ‘go-live’ until early in 2009.
Please note that the HIA outcomes framework is not mandatory, and the decision to use the HIA framework will be entirely the decision of Administering Authorities. You should also note that the collection and analysis of the outcomes information will not be undertaken by CLG. The outcomes form will be completed by the provider and sent directly back to their Administering Authority. It will be the responsibility of Administering Authorities to analyse the information on the returns.
Please find attached draft HIA Outcomes Form. Please note that this is only the draft HIA Outcomes form and it may well be amended following the pilot. Any comments you may have on the draft HIA Outcomes would be welcomed and should be sent to gsoutter@cel.co.uk
