The Supporting People Scheme provides different kinds of support to different types of users. To find out about available support that can help people to live more independently have a look at the Supporting People Service Directory.
Consulting with and involving users is at the heart of Supporting People in Greenwich.
The Service User and Carer Forum takes place every 3 months and enables users to have their say about the quality of service they receive.
The next meeting of the User and Carer Forum will be held on 10 September 2008 from 12-2pm in the Caledonian Hall at the Forum @ Greenwich, Trafalgar Road, London, SE10.
It is also an opportunity for the Supporting People Team to keep users up to date about what is going on.
We seek the views of users during service reviews, our complaints process and periodically canvass opinions through comment forms.
We are working with our colleagues and outside agencies to find innovative ways of engaging with Supporting People users.
