The attached document sets out, for consultation purposes, the ODPM's initial strategy for the future development of the Supporting People programme. The consultation will run until 28 February 2006, and Government intends to publish its conclusions following the consultation in Summer 2006. Stakeholders may also wish to read the companion technical consultation paper on the development of a Supporting People Distribution Formula, which can be found on this website under Subjects / Distribution Formula / SPDF Stage 2.
