In North Tyneside we have developed data validation Excel tool, enabling LA to maximise their clarity of data. The tool uses Local Authority .csv files submitted as part of your data extract to CLG and also the data returned from St Andrew's Client Record office.
By analysing these two data sources we have been able to identify where the two sets of data do not match and advise Support Services accordingly.
The Tools uses several calculation to determine NEW service Users accessing a particular service from the Performance Indicator.csv. Comparisons can then be analysed against the St Andrews data
