The attached document, which was originally published in October 2004, has been produced in response to requests received from across the Supporting People sector for clarification on the respective roles and responsibilities of the main players within the Supporting People framework. It therefore sets out the expectations ODPM have of the Commissioning Body, the Core Strategy Group, the Administering Authority, Elected Members, the Supporting People Accountable Officer, and the Supporting People Lead Officer.
In response to further requests, an additional section has been added on ODPM expectations of bodies involved in cross-authority and regional working.
