Free email alerts

Author : DCLG
Organisation: DCLG

Here's how to register to receive a regular email telling you about new or updated content items in the Job opportunities, News and events and Subjects sections of the website. The email will contain a list of links to these items so you can go straight to them.

Although the Discussion forum is now closed, you register to receive email alerts through your Discussion forum user profile, so if you haven't already signed up to the Discussion forum you need to do that first. Otherwise, you can go straight to the section on registering for email alerts.

If you have not already signed up

  1. In the website navigation on the left of the screen, click the Subjects link. In the Subjects menu select Archive and then follow the links to the closed Discussion Forum.
  2. At the top right of the screen, click the Sign Up link. The New User Sign Up dialog is displayed.
  3. Complete the fields on the form and click the Signup button. A confirmation message is displayed, saying that an email containing your username and password has been sent to you.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Wait for the email to arrive with your username and password information and then register for email alerts as described below.
