The Government has today announced the three-year funding package for Supporting People. The total funding settlement for England will provide £1.72 billion in 2005/06, followed by around £1.7 billion in each of the years 2006/07 and 2007/08. This three-year settlement demonstrates the Government‘s continuing commitment to improving the quality of life for those at risk by promoting independent living.
