ODPM have been working with EROSH at looking at specific outcomes for services users in sheltered housing provision. The attached are outcomes of this piece of work which includes a questionnaire for service user to complete which tries to capture the benefits and positive outcomes of services in sheltered housing. There is also a spreadsheet for recording the data - with guidance on how to use.
The questionnaire has been piloted with several housing providers and Authorities. The Audit Commission has also seen and commented.
Whilst this questionnaire is not mandatory we would certainly encourage providers and authorities to use, particularly as we look to making the programme less process driven and more outcome focussed.
